Tokenizing K-Pop: WAVIST Night at KBW 2026
On September 29, during Korea Blockchain Week 2026, DayOneDream and Soneium — with community partner Optimism — host an evening on making K-content investable: the IP, the capital, and the rails.
WAVIST exists to answer one question: how does K-content — the concerts, the shows, the artists that global audiences already pay for — become an asset that global capital can actually hold? Our answer is a platform: structuring K-content IP into issuable assets and opening access to them, step by step.
The first proof is complete. The first $CNCRT, backed by K-pop concert IP, was issued in November 2025, repaid in full in May 2026, and the tokens were burned on-chain the same month — a full cycle from issuance to retirement, recorded end to end.

Why this evening, and why these partners
Making K-content investable takes three things moving together.
The IP. WAVIST is built by DayOneDream, an operator before it is a platform: a K-content entertainment group running music production and publishing, video content, artist IP management, live events, and IP commerce in-house — 120+ projects since 2009, across 22+ countries, with 15+ artists and actors. The next stage extends beyond the group, opening the platform to external IP holders.
The capital. Institutional first, and — as regulation allows — broader access over time. Each step is designed to comply with the regulatory requirements of the jurisdictions in which it operates.
The rails. More chains, more channels. Soneium, the Ethereum Layer 2 developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs, brings entertainment-native blockchain infrastructure — and, built on the OP Stack, connects to Optimism, the blockchain platform used by exchanges, fintechs, and financial institutions. At WAVIST Night, Soneium will also present its work on tokenized IP and real-world entertainment assets.
